My early 2020 trip to Patagonia was intended to be a photographic journey through some of the most beautiful and monumental scenery on the planet. And there's no doubt that it ticked those boxes. But I brought my gigantic wildlife lens with me as well, and hoped that I might see some animals here or there along the way. I ended up pleasantly surprised with the amount and variety of wildlife images I was able to capture on this trip, and perhaps my favorite wildlife encounter was with this young red fox I saw while on the road to Argentina's spectacular Perito Moreno glacier. He wasn't at all shy, and when I laid down on the (lightly-traveled) road to the glacier in order to shoot at eye-level, he seemed almost as interested in me as I was in him, thus allowing me to get this image of him seemingly staring directly into my eyes. Your photo is printed directly onto specially coated aluminum, with dyes infused into the surface rather than applied on top. The result is a luminous, almost glowing quality that paper simply cannot match, with exceptional color depth and vibrant detail. A float mount on the back suspends the print off the wall, giving it a clean, frameless, gallery-quality look straight out of the box with no additional framing needed.

The default finish is glossy. If you prefer matte or semi-gloss, you must specify your choice in the comments section at checkout, otherwise your print will be produced with a glossy finish.

If your photo has an edge of 16 or more inches, it will include a signature and edition number.

The print is finished with a hand-selected Larson-Juhl frame in either the Belmont (rich wood veneer, modern profile) or Antica (traditional burl wood) style.
