The best views of the Acropolis are not from right outside the Acropolis, but rather from Mount Lycabettus, which is a half hour walk away. I made sure to arrive at the top of the mountain early, so I could set up a tripod and get some nice shots, but even though I arrived more than an hour before sunset, the viewing platform was full of people, and I had no hope of taking any photos with a tripod. One (obvious) perk of taking a lot of photos is that one can more quickly identify good and bad compositions, and after more closely examining the view, I decided the view would, counter-intuitively, be better from further down the mountain. So down I went. This photo was taken at sunset, and shows not only the Acropolis, but also a big portion of the city of Athens, itself. Photo © copyright by Glenn Lewis.

A float mount on the back suspends the print off the wall, giving it a clean, frameless, gallery-quality look straight out of the box with no additional framing needed.

The default finish is glossy. If you prefer matte or semi-gloss, you must specify your choice in the comments section at checkout, otherwise your print will be produced with a glossy finish.

If your photo has an edge of 16 or more inches, it will include a signature and edition number.
