| I've been to Africa a few times. In the summer of 2019, I spent about two weeks in Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya. It was my first time visiting Uganda and Rwanda, and what prompted the trip was the desire to photograph the famous mountain gorillas. Doing so is expensive, but certainly a bucket list item that was well-worth doing. Since I'd already flown halfway across the world, I decided I might as well make the most of the time I had available, so I photographed a lot of the more traditional African wildlife in several of Uganda's spectacular National Parks. There was a lot of infrastructure work being done while I was there, and I'm of the opinion that Uganda is making inroads to being one of the premier safari destinations on the planet. |
