| I visited Turks and Caicos (a Caribbean island chain roughly 600 miles southeast of Miami) during a week between Florida art shows in the spring of 2020 – just before COVID-19. I'd heard of the islands before arriving, but knew nothing of them. My time was limited, and I only had one and a half days of good weather, but that limited time was enough for me to experience the most outrageous colors of ocean water I'd ever seen. When the sun hits the waters of the Turks and Caicos islands, it is truly something to behold. It almost appears to glow. |
