Chile
I spent roughly a month in Chile and Argentina in early 2020, on a trip I'd been hoping to do for years. It didn't disappoint. I thought a month would be plenty of time to explore Patagonia, but it wasn't even close! Few people live in the Patagonian portion of southern Chile and Argentina, but the landscape is some of the most spectacular on the planet. The Atacama desert, in northern Chile, is one of the driest places on the planet, and is home to some of the most unusual landscapes I've been lucky enough to explore. I definitely need to brush up on my Spanish, and figure out a way to make a return trip!
