Atlanta from the Jackson Street Bridge
Starting in 2018, every time I visited a new city, and had the opportunity to do so, I made it a point to try and photograph the city skyline. I took this photo in the spring of 2019, when I found myself in Atlanta. I took this photo from the Jackson Street Bridge, which spans Highway 10 as it approaches downtown, and is a famous spot for Atlanta skyline photos. Although I usually don't bother taking city skyline photos until the sun has already set, I couldn't resist taking this one, as the scary-looking storm clouds really added mood to the scene. It was a good thing I took the photo when I did, because within a few minutes those clouds unleashed heavy rain on Atlanta.
