I drive along Interstate 70, through Colorado's Rocky Mountains, dozens of times every year, but it wasn't until 2020 that I discovered a popular trailhead probably half a mile from the interstate, near the mountain town of Silverthorne. A 3.5 mile round-trip hike takes one to Lily Pad Lake, appropriately named, since, at least when I was there, almost the entire surface of the lake was covered with lily pads, and because I was accidentally there at the right time of year, there were many blooming flowers growing in the lake as well. I had my telephoto lens with me in the hopes I'd be able to photograph some wildlife along the trail, but there was very little to be found. I made use of the long lens, though, in capturing this image of one of the yellow pond lilies that were too far away to capture with a normal lens. Available in the following sizes (Rectangle B): 8x12, 12x18, 16x24, 20x30, 24x36, 30x45, 40x60.

The oceans aren't the only clear water in and around Thailand. Tha Pom Khlong Song Nam is a nature reserve near Krabi, in southern Thailand. Crystal-clear freshwater bubbles up from springs in the area, and becomes brackish (somewhat salty), but still clear, as it mingles with seawater. Mangroves grow all over the area, and a delightful boardwalk allows one to wander through. Not a bad way to spend an hour or two if in the neighborhood. Available in the following sizes (Rectangle B): 8x12, 12x18, 16x24, 20x30, 24x36, 30x45, 40x60, 48x72.

Wormsloe Historic Site, or Wormsloe Plantation, as it is frequently called, is an 822 acre plot of land established by one of Georgia's colonial founders, Noble Jones. There are no trees anything like these live oaks in my home state of Colorado, but they're everywhere in the Savannah area. Available in the following sizes (Rectangle B): 12x8, 18x12, 24x16, 30x20, 36x24, 45x30, 60x40, 72x48.
Wormsloe Historic Site, or Wormsloe Plantation, as it is frequently called, is an 822 acre plot of land established by one of Georgia's colonial founders, Noble Jones. I found the site to be interesting enough, but the highlight, for me, was the live oak-lined avenue leading to the site's interior. It looks like something straight out of a fairy tale. Available in the following sizes (Panorama B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36), 105x42, 105x42 Triptych (3 x 35x42), 120x48, 120x48 Triptych (3 x 40x48), 135x54 Triptych (3 x 45x54), 150x60 Triptych (3 x 50x60).

Osceola National Forest is located roughly 50 miles west of Jacksonville, in northeast Florida. The roughly 200,000 acres that make up the National Forest consist primarily of hardwood swamps like that shown here. Highway 41 is the southernmost road in Florida that connects the East and West coasts. There is a small detour along Highway 41 called “Loop Road Big Cypress National Reserve” that takes drivers off the main road, and through beautiful swamp scenery adjacent to Everglades National Park. I stopped on this road for a few minutes to shoot the cypress swamp, and as I was setting up for this shot, a solitary roseate spoonbill flew in, over my head, and perched on the closest tree. Can you spot him? Available in the following sizes (Rectangle B): 8x12, 12x18, 16x24, 20x30, 24x36, 30x45.

I took this photo during a stop in Everglades National Parks in between art shows in Florida, in February, 2017. The scenery in this National Park isn't as epic in scale as the National Parks I shoot further west, but it is beautiful nonetheless, especially at sunrise. I took this photo from the roof of my van, which allowed me to see far into the distance, above the relatively short trees that dominated the area in which I'd stopped for this photo. Available in the following sizes (Rectangle B): 12x8, 18x12, 24x16, 30x20, 36x24, 45x30.

I don't typically point my camera towards the sun at either sunrise or sunset. I prefer to have the sun behind me, or coming in diagonally over one of my shoulders. This allows for the horizontal light cast by the sun, low on the horizon, to light up scenes with vivd hues that last only minutes. When this shot presented itself, though, I couldn't resist shooting at the sun, and love the result. The early-morning fog low on the ground completes the scene. I stopped for the night at Fairview-Riverside State Park, north of New Orleans, Louisiana, while en route to an art show in Florida, in April, 2016. I was hoping to take some swamp and wetlands photographs while traveling through the area, and this State Park, although small, provided many opportunities. It was still quite early in the morning when I took this photo. Early mornings are always best for still air and smooth lake / river surfaces, which are ideal for reflection shots, such as this one. Available in the following sizes (Panorama B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36), 105x42, 105x42 Triptych (3 x 35x42), 120x48, 120x48 Triptych (3 x 40x48).
Louisiana has a lot of unique beauty. I spent several nights camping at Sam Houston Jones State Park, just outside of Lake Charles, and arose early each morning to photograph the swamp adjacent to my campsite. Although this swamp wasn't particularly large, I found a panoramic format lent itself quite well to the location, especially because of the crystal-clear surface of the water, which reflected the trees perfectly. Available in the following sizes (Panorama B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36).

There are countless places to pull over along the multi-state Natchez Trace Parkway, but the Cypress Swamp, near Canton, Mississippi, proved to be one of my favorites. This type of landscape was common along the 444-mile Natchez Trace. Sunrise Canoe Ride in Chitwan National Park
When most people think of Nepal, they think of the highest mountains on the planet. The southern portion of the country, however, is much lower, and the environment, as well as the culture of the area reflects this difference. I went on a journey to Chitwan National Park, approximately 60 miles geographically but worlds apart in terms of day-to-day life from the madness of Kathmandu. Life here was much slower, as symbolized by the lazy paddling of a canoe through Chitwan National Park at sunrise. Available in the following sizes (Rectangle B): 12x8, 18x12, 24x16, 30x20, 36x24, 45x30.
