Lincoln Memorial Reflection
I visited a bunch of big, American cities on a whirlwind tour of the northeast and Midwest United States, during the fall of 2018. I had one evening in Washington, D.C., and I spent it wandering the National Mall, taking photos of the famous buildings and memorials. It was a fairly dismal night, which resulted in a very moody sky. One of the advantages to visiting the National Mall at night is that there aren't a million tourists wandering about, so it is possible to photograph famous sights, like the Lincoln Memorial, shown here, without crowds.
