Sunset from Inspiration Point
My favorite views of Southwest Utah's Bryce Canyon National Park are from the south, at Inspiration Point, and Bryce Point. When I came to visit in late February, 2019, the park was buried under far more snow than is typical, and both of these viewpoints were, at least when I arrived, closed. But the National Parks employees came through, and cleared enough snow that they were both soon made reachable . I took this photo from Inspiration Point, as the sun set off-camera. The setting sun did manage to light the clouds to the west up with a vibrant pink light, which offset the blues, oranges, and whites elsewhere in the photo perfectly.
