I found myself in southeast Florida in the spring of 2020 as I was exhibiting at some art shows in the area. One of these shows happened to be held in Fort Lauderdale, so after a bit of research, I figured out a nice spot from which to photograph the city (the Seventeenth Street Causeway Bridge), and went there shortly before sunset. The scene certainly didn't disappoint! Available in the following sizes (Panorama A): 20x10, 24x12, 32x16, 40x20, 48x24, 60x30, 60x30 Triptych (3 x 20x30), 72x36, 72x36 Triptych (3 x 24x36), 80x40, 80x40 Triptych (3 x 27x40), 96x48, 96x48 Triptych (3 x 32x48), 108x54, 108x54 Triptych (3 x 36x54), 120x60, 120x60 Triptych (3 x 40x60).

In the winter of 2020, I visited Yellowstone National Park, and although I've been to this wonderful park many times, this marked my first visit in the winter. I went hoping to see and photograph wolves. Although I saw many wolves through a spotting scope, I never got close enough to any to capture any great images. The trip was a lot of fun, though, and I was able to capture several other images that were great in their own right. While on the trip, I stayed in the charming Montana town of Gardiner, shown here. Available in the following sizes (Panorama B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36), 105x42, 105x42 Triptych (3 x 35x42), 120x48, 120x48 Triptych (3 x 40x48).
Talat Rotfai Night Market Panorama
I visited Thailand in February 2020, just before the world went up in flames. The only time I'd been to Bangkok before was in 2012, and on that visit, I somehow didn't make it to the famous Talat Rotfai Night Market. That wasn't a mistake I was going to make twice. Although a bit on the tourist side (read: overpriced), the market is a fun place to wander and people watch. And although it is overpriced, it's still reasonable by American standards. The trickiest part of the night was finding the location to take this photo. Right next to the market is an enormous shopping mall that looks out at the market, but getting a good angle is tough. It turns out the best spot to photograph the market is from the highest-accessible level of the mall's attached parking garage. Yup, I took this photo from a parking garage. Available in the following sizes (Panorama C): 30x10, 36x12, 48x16, 60x20, 72x24, 90x30, 90x30 Triptych (3 x 30x30), 108x36, 108x36 Triptych (3 x 36x36), 120x40, 120x40 Triptych Triptych (3 x 40x40), 144x48 Triptych (3 x 48x48).
“The Strip,” in Las Vegas, has been photographed countless times. And for good reason - it is, if nothing else, one of the most brightly-lit streets in the US. But when I was passing through Las Vegas in the fall of 2019, I wanted to shoot the city from a non-traditional location. After looking at some maps of the region, I found “Exploration Peak Park,” which is located several miles southwest of downtown and allows for a good view of the city. Available in the following sizes (Panorama C): 30x10, 36x12, 48x16, 60x20, 72x24, 90x30, 90x30 Triptych (3 x 30x30), 108x36, 108x36 Triptych (3 x 36x36), 120x40, 120x40 Triptych Triptych (3 x 40x40), 144x48 Triptych (3 x 48x48), 162x54 Triptych (3 x 54x54), 180x60 Triptych (3 x 60x60).

San Francisco is one of the more modern skylines in America, and, in my opinion, one of the prettiest. But San Francisco is associated to such a degree with the Golden Gate Bridge, that almost any search for a photo of San Francisco will return images of the bridge, with the city, perhaps, as an afterthought. I wanted to get a photo of downtown San Francisco without its most famous icon, and a bit of research led me to the top of Twin Peaks, where I took this photo. I think it turned out spectacularly! Available in the following sizes (Panorama C): 20x10, 24x12, 32x16, 40x20, 48x24, 60x30, 60x30 Triptych (3 x 20x30), 72x36, 72x36 Triptych (3 x 24x36), 80x40, 80x40 Triptych (3 x 27x40), 96x48, 96x48 Triptych (3 x 32x48), 108x54, 108x54 Triptych (3 x 36x54), 120x60, 120x60 Triptych (3 x 40x60).
The Golden Gate Bridge has been shot to death, but this doesn't make it any less beautiful. I was lucky enough to be in the San Francisco area when there was a full moon, and I found a location from which I was able to capture the Golden Gate Bridge, downtown San Francisco, and the nearly full moon in a single frame. I couldn't have asked for better lighting than I got on the night I took this photo. Available in the following sizes (Panorama A): 30x10, 36x12, 48x16, 60x20, 72x24, 90x30, 90x30 Triptych (3 x 30x30), 108x36, 108x36 Triptych (3 x 36x36), 120x40, 120x40 Triptych Triptych (3 x 40x40), 144x48 Triptych (3 x 48x48), 162x54 Triptych (3 x 54x54), 180x60 Triptych (3 x 60x60).
Des Moines and the Martin Luther King Junior Bridge Panorama
In the summer of 2019, I found myself in Des Moines, Iowa, in order to appear at an art show. As I'd made tradition the year before, I used this opportunity to photograph the city. I took this photo from the East bank of the Des Moines River, just upstream of where it joins the Raccoon River, looking across the Martin Luther King Junior Parkway bridge, into downtown. This photo was taken well after sunset, but I left the lens open long enough to capture the little bit of remaining blue in the night sky, and keep the buildings and bridge in the photo properly lit. Available in the following sizes (Panorama B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36), 105x42, 105x42 Triptych (3 x 35x42), 120x48, 120x48 Triptych (3 x 40x48), 135x54 Triptych (3 x 45x54), 150x60 Triptych (3 x 50x60).

In the summer of 2019, I found myself in Des Moines, Iowa, in order to appear at an art show. As I'd made tradition the year before, I used this opportunity to photograph the city. I took this photo from the State Capitol – an unusual and beautiful building in its own right – shortly after a beautiful sunset, while there was still enough ambient light to light up the sky in a long exposure, while keeping the lit-up buildings nicely lit. Available in the following sizes (Rectangle A): 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, 20x24, 24x30, 30x40, 40x50, 48x60.

Indianapolis over the White River
I was passing through Indiana in 2019, and seized the opportunity to photograph the capitol city, Indianapolis. There are more than a few good locations from which to view the downtown skyline, but I took this one from the western shore of the White River, with the skyline in the back. Available in the following sizes (Rectangle B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36), 105x42, 105x42 Triptych (3 x 35x42), 120x48, 120x48 Triptych (3 x 40x48).

The defining object of the Saint Louis skyline is without a doubt the 630-foot tall Gateway Arch, which was completed in 1965. It truly makes the Saint Louis skyline instantly recognizable. Unfortunately, the best place to view downtown Saint Louis and the Gateway Arch is across the Mississippi River, in East Saint Louis, which is often cited as the most dangerous city in America. So I wasn't particularly keen on walking around the area with $10,000 in camera gear around my neck, but eventually decided to give it a go. My gear is insured, after all! And my experience was just as “boring” (I wasn't shot...) as I hoped it would be. I'm really happy with the photos I got here.
