I've visited Sarasota many times, but it took me until early 2022 to finally get a skyline photo. Taken from West John Ringling Causeway Park, this location is perfect for photography, as it allows one to capture the city itself, as well as the John Ringling Causeway bridge. Available in the following sizes (Panorama C): 30x10, 36x12, 48x16, 60x20, 72x24, 90x30, 90x30 Triptych (3 x 30x30), 108x36, 108x36 Triptych (3 x 36x36), 120x40, 120x40 Triptych (3 x 40x40), 144x48 Triptych (3 x 48x48), 162x54 Triptych (3 x 54x54), 180x60 Triptych (3 x 60x60).

I've only visited Rhode Island once, and it was for the single purpose of photographing the Providence city skyline. This unfortunately means I don't really have much to say about either the state or the city. But I will say that the city skyline is actually very pretty, and it is at least in part due to the Providence River that flows directly through town. Cities are almost always more photogenic when a river can be included in the foreground, and this certainly held true for Providence. Available in the following sizes (Panorama A): 20x10, 24x12, 32x16, 40x20, 48x24, 60x30, 60x30 Triptych (3 x 20x30), 72x36, 72x36 Triptych (3 x 24x36), 80x40, 80x40 Triptych (3 x 27x40), 96x48, 96x48 Triptych (3 x 32x48), 108x54, 108x54 Triptych (3 x 36x54), 120x60, 120x60 Triptych (3 x 40x60).

Boston from the Longfellow Bridge
I've spent very little time in Massachusetts (and New England, in general), but when a good friend moved there in 2021, it provided the inspiration for me to finally make it up to Boston. Coincidentally, ever since I started showing cityscape photos in 2019, the number one city request I've gotten is Boston. Why not kill two birds with one stone? I finally made it there in the fall of 2021, and really enjoyed it. I had a bit of difficulty finding the best place to photograph the entire city skyline, but after getting the more traditional shot of the city, and wanting another vantage point, I discovered a nice view from the newly-renovated Longfellow Bridge. Available in the following sizes (Panorama B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36), 105x42, 105x42 Triptych (3 x 35x42), 120x48, 120x48 Triptych (3 x 40x48).

I had a bit of difficulty finding the best place to photograph the entire city skyline, but this shot, taken from East Boston (very close to the Tall Ship) I can see why so many people have such a strong connection to this historically-rich American city. Being from Colorado, I'm always surprised when I get to the East Coast, and find so many major cities in such close proximity to one another. From Denver, the next closest city with a similar population is Albuquerque, New Mexico, and it is a 7 hour drive away. I've wanted to photograph the Baltimore skyline for several years, but never had the occasion to visit the city. However, I had some art shows in Washington, DC, in the summer of 2021, and was surprised to see that Baltimore is literally one hour away. So I made sure to find time to get there, and I'm glad I did, because it really is a beautiful skyline. I took this photo from the top of Federal Hill Park, which provided a great view of the Inner Harbor, and downtown. I visited a good friend of mine in Avalon, the only “city” on Catalina Island, a mostly undeveloped desert island off the coast of California, in the summer of 2021. The island is accessible by a one hour ferry ride from Los Angeles. To me, this photo looks much more like a southern European scene than anything in the US, but I guess looks can be deceiving. It really is a beautiful city. Available in the following sizes (Panorama B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36), 105x42, 105x42 Triptych (3 x 35x42), 120x48, 120x48 Triptych (3 x 40x48), 135x54 Triptych (3 x 45x54), 150x60 Triptych (3 x 50x60).
I made a quick trip to southern California in the summer of 2021 in order to visit a friend on Catalina Island. I'd started shooting cityscapes a few years earlier, but had yet to get a shot of San Diego, and this trip provided the perfect opportunity. Available in the following sizes (Panorama C): 30x10, 36x12, 48x16, 60x20, 72x24, 90x30, 90x30 Triptych (3 x 30x30), 108x36, 108x36 Triptych (3 x 36x36), 120x40, 120x40 Triptych Triptych (3 x 40x40), 144x48 Triptych (3 x 48x48), 162x54 Triptych (3 x 54x54), 180x60 Triptych (3 x 60x60).

I shot the Minneapolis skyline in the summer of 2018 – the first year I really began photographing American city skylines. But I somehow skipped getting Saint Paul. I don't know why, but I thought of them as a single city. The same thing happened to me when I shot Dallas (skipping Fort Worth, which, as of the end of 2021, I still haven't photographed). But I met someone from Saint Paul at an art show elsewhere, and when I mentioned that I had Minneapolis, he was understandably indifferent. This made it obvious to me that I needed to fix this omission, so the next time I was going through the Midwest, I made sure to go out of my way just long enough to get Saint Paul. The Mississippi River, which runs right through Saint Paul, really makes Saint Paul quite photogenic. Available in the following sizes (Panorama A): 20x10, 24x12, 32x16, 40x20, 48x24, 60x30, 60x30 Triptych (3 x 20x30).

I've spent virtually zero time in Detroit, but I was going through the Midwest in the summer of 2021, and knowing that Detroit was one of a decreasing number of large American cities I had yet to shoot, I made enough of a detour to head out to Belle Isle to get this photo. Sitting in the middle of the Detroit River that separates the United States from Canada, it is the best place from which to view Detroit. I have to say, I got pretty lucky with the sky, and although Detroit has its fair share of problems (what city doesn't?), it is a very picturesque skyline. Available in the following sizes (Panorama C): 30x10, 36x12, 48x16, 60x20, 72x24, 90x30, 90x30 Triptych (3 x 30x30), 108x36, 108x36 Triptych (3 x 36x36), 120x40, 120x40 Triptych Triptych (3 x 40x40), 144x48 Triptych (3 x 48x48), 162x54 Triptych (3 x 54x54), 180x60 Triptych (3 x 60x60).
I visited (and photographed) Cleveland in the summer of 2018, but neglected to shoot some of the most iconic locations, so when I found myself back in Cleveland in the summer of 2021, I decided to fix this. What's more iconic than the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Available in the following sizes (Panorama B): 30x12, 40x16, 50x20, 60x24, 75x30, 75x30 Triptych (3 x 25x30), 90x36, 90x36 Triptych (3 x 30x36), 105x42, 105x42 Triptych (3 x 35x42), 120x48, 120x48 Triptych (3 x 40x48), 135x54 Triptych (3 x 45x54), 150x60 Triptych (3 x 50x60).
Cleveland from the Superior Viaduct
I visited (and photographed) Cleveland in the summer of 2018, but neglected to shoot some of the most iconic locations, so when I found myself back in Cleveland in the summer of 2021, I decided to fix this. The typical “Cleveland shot” has the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame front and center, but for this one, I wanted something different, so I went to the Superior Viaduct, which provides one a view of the Cuyahoga River and most of the city's skyscrapers. Available in the following sizes (Panorama A): 20x10, 24x12, 32x16, 40x20, 48x24, 60x30, 60x30 Triptych (3 x 20x30), 72x36, 72x36 Triptych (3 x 24x36), 80x40, 80x40 Triptych (3 x 27x40), 96x48, 96x48 Triptych (3 x 32x48), 108x54, 108x54 Triptych (3 x 36x54), 120x60, 120x60 Triptych (3 x 40x60).

I found myself in southeast Florida in the spring of 2020 as I was exhibiting at some art shows in the area. One of these shows happened to be held in Fort Lauderdale, so after a bit of research, I figured out a nice spot from which to photograph the city (the Seventeenth Street Causeway Bridge), and went there shortly before sunset. The scene certainly didn't disappoint! Available in the following sizes (Panorama A): 20x10, 24x12, 32x16, 40x20, 48x24, 60x30, 60x30 Triptych (3 x 20x30), 72x36, 72x36 Triptych (3 x 24x36), 80x40, 80x40 Triptych (3 x 27x40), 96x48, 96x48 Triptych (3 x 32x48), 108x54, 108x54 Triptych (3 x 36x54), 120x60, 120x60 Triptych (3 x 40x60).
